Mr. Ash Sharma
General Manager, Operations

Before joining SKMG, Mr. Sharma worked for a number of major construction firms, both domestically and internationally, including JIL Ltd., Agra Industries Ltd., Ellis Don Ltd., PCL, and Pacific Architects and Engineers. Mr. Sharma’s experience includes work on hotels, commercial offices, hospitals, marine, and general civil construction management.

Mr. Sharma graduated from the University of Baroda with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He has completed the Management Studies program at the University of British Columbia and holds a Certificate of Recognition from the Alberta Construction Safety Association Certification 2005 (external audit pending).

Mr. Barry Poole, CET
Project Manager

Mr. Poole brings 30 plus years of construction industry experience to SKMG. Mr. Poole previously worked with Graham Construction as Senior Project Manager.  Prior to that, Barry worked with Ellis Don, Lawson Projects, and Jasper Construction in and around the City of Calgary on a variety of industrial and civil projects.   Mr. Poole graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology with honours in Structural Engineering Technology

Mr. Vadim Barabash
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Barabash has been the executive manager for international operations for the MOST General Contracting Company since 1995. He has served as the president and CEO of MOST Canada since 2001.

Prior to joining the MOST group of companies, Mr. Barabash was a director of a municipal television station and the deputy assistant to the mayor of Belogorsk – specializing in foreign trade. He began his career as an engineer at the Trans-Baikal Railway computer center, where he was instrumental in upgrading the centre to modern day technology.

Mr. Barabash is a graduate of the Khabarovsk Institute of Railway Engineering, and is fluent in English and Russian.

Mr. Jay Campbell
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Campbell was a senior manager with General Electric (Commercial Finance, Energy Financial Services and Corporate Finance) prior to joining MOST Canada. During his tenure with General Electric, he was instrumental in securing senior secured debt financing for many major Alberta oil and gas service and production companies. Before accepting the position with General Electric, Mr. Campbell was the senior manager of the Commercial Lending department of the Canadian Western Bank. In that role, Mr. Campbell was in charge of all aspects of the portfolio including risk management, underwriting, pricing, and the management and administration of a staff and portfolio in excess of $100M.

Mr. Campbell graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor degree with distinction in Commerce. He also has an Honors Business Administration degree from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology Business.

Mr. Jim DeLong, CMA

Prior to joining MOST Financial, Mr. DeLong was Controller/CFO for Crape Geomatics Corporation based in Calgary, Alberta from 2004 to 2008.   Crape was a privately owned land survey and mapping company providing services primarily to the Oil and Gas industry in Alberta.  Mr. DeLong was responsible for nine direct and 17 total reports providing support services to the business.  In addition to that was charged with corporate accounting function from controlling input to issuance of monthly statements.

Prior to that Mr. DeLong was the Controller for Hazco Environmental Services Ltd. based in Calgary, Alberta from 1998 to 2004.  Hazco is a privately owned environmental construction company specializing in the reclamation of contaminated property in Western Canada.  Mr. DeLong supervised an accounting department of nine, plus one Information Technology professional. Established and monitored appropriate controls.  Championed several change initiatives including purchasing new accounting software, redesigning monthly financial reports to better meet owners needs, implementing processes for collecting activity information from field personnel, and restructuring work flows to meet demands of growth.
